The bounce point arrives when incoming orbs and curves must be tracked through free movement rather than a fixed routine. Players expecting a conventional dance sequence may find the expressive control model unclear, while Story Mode can also stop short at its work-in-progress state.
What is Holodance?
Holodance is a VR rhythm game built around catching orbs arriving with the music and following moving curves through free-form movement.
Players can punch orbs, slice drops with laserblades, shoot drones, or dance with dragons across 20 environments, including beaches, underwater scenes, tunnels, and asteroid fields. Free Mode supports local music and 60,000 ranked osu! maps covering more than 12,000 songs. Orbs can be caught with the head, or with the feet when Vive Trackers are attached. The game includes Mixed Reality support, native LIV integration, an avatar system supporting up to 7 Vive Trackers, and Streamer Mode with switchable third-person views. Story Mode is marked as a work in progress.
