Our take on Hide and Seek
The hiding team's central mechanic is transforming into objects, while seekers search with restricted vision and a special flashlight.
What is Hide and Seek?
Hide and Seek divides players into two teams: one conceals itself while the other searches.
The hiding team receives time to find places to hide before the search begins, then can change into different objects and move faster. Objects placed around the map shift position whenever the map reloads, making transformed players harder to identify. Seekers move more slowly, have a limited field of view, cannot see through objects, and use a special flashlight while looking. Both teams can double-jump. Closets provide hiding places, with doors that players can open and close. The game is structured around concealment and detection, with opposing teams using different movement and visibility abilities.
How Hide and Seek plays
- 01Object transformation
- The hiding side can take the form of different objects while moving faster than the searchers.
- 02Changing map objects
- Objects scattered across the map change position whenever it reloads, making detection less predictable.
- 03Restricted seeker vision
- Searchers have a narrow field of view, cannot see through objects, and carry a flashlight.
- 04Closet hiding
- Players can hide inside closets and open or close their doors.
