Our take on Hidden Through Time
Instead of centering a historical game on battles, quests, or character progression, it turns each period into an illustrated search scene. The structure also extends beyond a fixed set of stages by making player-created maps and shared discoveries part of the experience.
What is Hidden Through Time?
Hidden Through Time is a hidden-object game set across four ages of history.
Players examine colorful, hand-drawn scenes and follow cryptic clues to locate concealed items, including dinosaur eggs in the Stone Age and a king’s crown in medieval times. Finding enough objects allows progression to the next stage. The game also includes a map editor for creating original levels with hidden treasures. Created maps can be shared through the cloud, while community levels can be discovered, played, and rated. This combines searches in the game’s historical scenes with an open-ended system for making and exploring additional player-created content.
