Our take on Hexa Path
Instead of relying on a conventional action-game loop, play centers on tracing a route that captures every hex. Tile visitation rules and enemy ships turn movement into the main puzzle, with success depending on planning a path through the board.
What is Hexa Path?
Guide a blue ship across a hexagonal board, changing tiles to blue as it moves.
Each puzzle asks the player to capture every tile while dealing with mechanics such as numbered tiles that need multiple passes and lettered tiles that must be visited in order. Green tiles connect through teleportation, and enemy ships can be removed by stepping on them before they obstruct the route. The game contains 60 levels with increasing difficulty. If a route gets blocked, the level can be restarted. Minimalist visuals and an atmospheric soundtrack accompany the puzzles, which use mouse controls.
How Hexa Path plays
- 01Ordered tile rules
- Numbered tiles need multiple passes; lettered tiles follow a required capture order.
- 02Tile teleporters
- Green tiles let the ship move between connected points on the board.
- 03Enemy ships
- Stepping on enemy ships removes them before they can block the route.
- 04Sixty puzzles
- The 60 levels increase in difficulty as their layouts introduce more involved challenges.
