Play it if you…
Good fit- Farm-simulation fans who want combat and dungeon exploration
- Roguelite players who enjoy one-life runs with procedural environments

Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a relaxed, low-risk farming game may find the one-life structure and hostile dungeons demanding.
- Players wanting a purely agricultural simulator may find the pest combat, hazards, and survival requirements distracting.
- Players looking for a non-repeating fixed campaign may not prefer procedurally generated floors.
Our take on Hero Planter
Instead of placing agriculture in a safe rural setting, the game puts crop management inside hostile dungeons. Farming becomes part of a one-life roguelite run, with darkness, environmental hazards, and pests shaping the usual planting-and-harvesting cycle.
What is Hero Planter?
Hero Planter combines farm simulation with roguelite dungeon runs.
A single hero cultivates crops in 100 procedurally generated floors while dealing with poisonous fog, falling stalactites, darkness, and hostile pests. Soil must be fertilized, and plants require both light and water. Harvests can be sold or distributed as food, while new seeds expand the selection to about 30 crop types. Around 40 dishes can be prepared from the plants, with recipes discovered by defeating pests. Enemies may attack the hero, consume crops, detect plants, or dig tunnels through the dungeon floor. Each run allows only one life, making survival part of the farming and exploration structure.
