Skip it if you…

Our take on Backrooms: The Silence
Rather than reproducing the full Backrooms canon, the game uses selected elements to form its own interpretation. Its one-life rule, stealth play, proximity communication, and player-versus-game-master encounters also replace a more familiar guided horror structure with harsher survival pressure.
What is Backrooms: The Silence?
Backrooms: The Silence is a cooperative horror title supporting one to four participants.
Its players investigate a sprawling world inspired by the Backrooms, rely on individual abilities to stay alive, and confront the game master. Gameplay combines stealth, nearby voice communication, and AI-controlled behavior. Each run allows only one life and provides no manual. The game is described as very difficult. Instead of reproducing the entire Backrooms mythology, it incorporates selected elements into an original interpretation. Groups can investigate locations and handle dangers together, while a solo mode is also available.
