Our take on Hasfax
The defining structure is a choice between pursuing connected clues to understand the character’s arrival and abandoning the investigation to escape. With no points or hints, the game places interpretation of the environment at the center of progress.
What is Hasfax?
Hasfax begins with a character waking in a basement, unable to remember how they arrived.
Blood, ringing ears, and a strange environment establish the mystery. Exploration reveals connected clues and answers hidden throughout the setting, gradually exposing what the kidnapper expects and why the character is there. The game provides no points or hints, leaving the player to interpret discoveries and decide how to proceed. One path focuses on understanding the events and the character’s condition; another is to escape. The story also presents illness as part of its central situation and frames its consequences as irreversible. Its structure centers on investigation, disorientation, and choices about whether to pursue explanations or leave.

- 03Two Main Choices
- The player can investigate the circumstances further or attempt to get away.
- 04Irreversible Consequences
- The story presents illness and its effects as consequences that cannot be undone.
