Our take on Hard Glide
The unusual control scheme separates movement from aiming, allowing the robot to move while firing in a fixed direction. That choice asks players to coordinate mouse actions rather than rely on conventional movement-and-aim controls, which may limit its appeal to players who prefer familiar input patterns.
What is Hard Glide?
Hard Glide is a fast-paced arcade game about a small, fragile robot navigating a world of machines.
Levels contain hostile bots and dangerous obstacles, with challenges growing harder as the robot works toward its goal. Movement is controlled by moving the mouse. Holding the left mouse button fires and keeps the aim pointed in one direction, while the right mouse button rotates the aim by 180 degrees during shooting. The left button also transfers keys and moves platforms at transit stations. A middle-button click gives a hint about level goals. The game also supports a gamepad or mouse-and-WASD controls. Its focus is on reaction speed and dexterity, with an arcade style and modern graphics and effects.
