Our take on Hack Grid
Its fixed-board puzzle format keeps the focus on moving pieces under color-based rules, but offers less variety in activity than games built around multiple modes or changing scenarios.
What is Hack Grid?
Hack Grid is a retro-style puzzle game with 90 levels.
The goal in each puzzle is to leave one piece on the board. Pieces move onto pieces of a different color and consume them, while piece types vary: some can move, some stay in place, and others change color. The game offers mouse controls and keyboard shortcuts. Players can turn off the CRT visual effect, choose tracks in an in-game jukebox, and use colorblind support. Its soundtrack is styled after Sound Blaster 16 audio. Eight language options are available: Czech, Dutch, English, Finnish, German, Hindi, Russian, and Spanish.
