Our take on GUNGRAVE VR
The likely bounce point is the perspective system: players must adapt when a level shifts between third-person movement and first-person sections. The higher difficulty settings create a second wall for anyone who does not want demanding battles against enemy groups and bosses.
What is GUNGRAVE VR?
GUNGRAVE VR places players in the role of Beyond the Grave, an undead gunslinger called back into battle when South City is attacked by Orgmen infected with SEED.
The game combines third-person and first-person VR combat, with levels using free movement or stationary and mobile first-person play. Grave uses his firearms against groups of enemies and large bosses, while the Reaper Time skill slows the action to support tactical attacks. The campaign follows Mika Asagi and Grave as they fight to restore South City. Three difficulty settings are available: Normal, Hard, and Kick-Ass. Character designs were updated with input from Yasuhiro Nightow and the original GUNGRAVE designers at RED Entertainment.
