Its defining structure is the combination of fortress defense and territorial conquest: each battle protects a Roman settlement while progression leads toward more than 155 cities across Europe and Africa.
What is Grow Empire: Rome?
Grow Empire: Rome combines tower defense with empire expansion.
Players protect a Roman settlement by improving walls, towers, warriors, heroes, skills, and defensive cards. Battles involve waves of enemy troops, siege equipment, war elephants, and five factions from Egypt, Italy, Gaul, Iberia, and Carthage. Victories open routes to more than 155 cities across Europe and Africa, while conquered locations provide chests containing gems, gold, potions, and cards. The game includes more than 1,500 defense waves, over 1,000 building improvements, more than 35 Roman troop types, and seven heroes with individual abilities. Heroes can gain 50 additional levels.
