Is GRID Legends worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Motorsport fans who want structured career events alongside custom race creation
- Groups of friends who want cross-platform races with up to 21 participants
- Racing players who want story content as well as competitive events
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a narrowly focused racing discipline may find the combination of cars, events, and modes too broad
- Players wanting a small set of brief challenges may not suit a game with hundreds of career events and repeated races
- Players looking specifically for drone racing or kart racing may prefer a specialized alternative
Our take on GRID Legends
The wide mix of racing formats, multiplayer, story content, and career events trades away a tightly focused discipline. Players seeking one specialized driving style may find the experience less concentrated than a dedicated drift, kart, or drone-racing title.
What is GRID Legends?

KartKraft focuses on karting, while Drift Streets Japan centers on night street racing, car tuning, traffic, and drifting. Absolute Drift focuses on drift challenges across 34 tracks rather than GRID Legends’ broader motorsport structure.
