- Players looking for online multiplayer rather than couch co-op
- Players who prefer realistic or non-science-fiction settings
Our take on Greedy Guns
The focus on arcade shooting and difficult encounters leaves less room for relaxed exploration. The interconnected world adds discovery, but players who prefer straightforward stage progression must spend more time navigating between combat sequences.
What is Greedy Guns?
Greedy Guns is a 2D platformer combining run-and-gun shooting with exploration across an interconnected world.
Players aim and fire in 360 degrees while moving through alien environments, facing large bosses and difficult combat encounters. Metroidvania-inspired progression adds exploration to the arcade-style action. The game supports local two-player couch co-op, with keyboard, mouse, and controller input. A difficulty selector allows players to choose between challenge levels. Its story follows mercenaries working for HOLO CORP, a corporation that sends them to alien worlds to collect artifacts and DNA samples. Steam Trading Cards are also included.
