Greed: Black Border is a science-fiction action RPG set amid a war between five colonial powers competing for Ikarium, an energy-rich element.

Combat centers on hack-and-slash encounters with dangerous creatures and large end bosses. Each class has three upgradeable skill categories whose combined use creates different skill combinations. Character attributes can also be improved, with direct effects during play. Hundreds of items can be collected to improve weapons and armor.
