Our take on EVERSLAUGHT
Rather than using restrained VR movement as its central convention, EVERSLAUGHT makes rapid traversal and motion-based combat core parts of its action RPG structure. Randomized dungeons also replace a fully fixed route through its ancient setting.
What is EVERSLAUGHT?
EVERSLAUGHT is a VR action RPG set in an atmospheric ancient city.
Players explore detailed environments and dungeons whose layouts are generated randomly, while searching for rare loot and weapons with distinct properties. Character progression includes gear improvements, skill levels, skill-point allocation, perks, and hidden lore. Combat combines firearms, tools, and melee weapons against large groups of monstrous enemies. Motion-based controls include quickly switching between equipped weapons and tools by moving an arm. Movement is unrestricted and the action is built around rapid traversal and fighting. The game is presented for players seeking demanding VR movement and combat, with a warning for people who experience nausea from motion in virtual reality.
