Our take on Gravity Heroes
The bounce point arrives when gravity becomes a constant combat variable: players must track floors, walls, ceilings, and enemy positions at once. Large bosses can add another layer of spatial pressure, especially during solo campaign encounters.
What is Gravity Heroes?
Gravity Heroes is a 2D platform shooter built around changing the direction of gravity.
Its Gravity Shifter lets characters move across floors, walls, and ceilings, while enemies can also attack from different surfaces. The game includes a solo campaign about a synthetic uprising and a narrative campaign for local co-op or Steam Share Play with up to three other players. Multiplayer also includes versus and survival modes. Combat features robotic enemies and large bosses that can fill the screen. Pixel-art visuals and a soundtrack composed by Barry Leitch accompany the action, with a retro arcade style.

Gravity Heroes compared to similar games
Gravity Heroes combines 2D platform shooting with gravity-direction changes, a solo campaign, and multiplayer modes for up to four players. Sundered: Eldritch Edition is described as a chaotic metroidvania, while Abyssus focuses on multiplayer shooting in a roguelite structure with hand-crafted levels and weapon modifications. Those descriptions do not include Gravity Heroes' wall-and-ceiling movement system or its versus and survival modes.
