We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- Friends who want local shared-screen arena matches rather than a solo-only game
- Competitive pairs or teams looking for 1v1 and 2v2 ball-scoring matches
- Co-op players who want to defend a planet together against asteroid waves
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a broad set of sports may find the game’s play centered on one ball-and-goal arena format.
- Players who want a long-form progression structure may hit a wall after the three listed modes: two versus modes and one wave-based high-score mode.
- Players looking for single-player-only play may not find a mode built specifically around solo play.
Our take on GRAVIATORS
Players who want a solo campaign may bounce when choosing a mode: Meteor Shower is the only mode described for 1–2 co-op players, while both arena modes are for 2–4. The match structure centers on scoring or surviving waves rather than a stated campaign.
What is GRAVIATORS?
GRAVIATORS is a space-based arena sports game for 1–4 players, with local shared-screen and hotseat play as well as online multiplayer.
Matches use physics-based ball control: gravity draws the ball into orbit, shields push nearby objects away, and engine power moves a spacepod quickly across the arena. In Versus Arena, teams of 1v1 or 2v2 break the opposing goal’s shields before scoring. Planetary Arena adds a black-hole barrier that speeds up shots passing through it. Meteor Shower is a cooperative high-score mode for 1–2 players, who defend a planet against successive asteroid waves; later waves add asteroid types and special objects. Machine-learned AI opponents are also available.
