Our take on Grave Danger
The character-switching design makes teamwork central, but it also requires keeping track of three movement systems rather than relying on one consistent control style. Players looking for a simpler single-hero structure may find that added coordination slows the pace.
What is Grave Danger?
Guide Dante, Elliot, and Malice as they try to clear their names after being branded outlaws.
Each character has a distinct movement ability: Dante climbs vertical walls, Malice floats across gaps and narrow spaces, and Elliot can gain extra height with a mid-air jump. Progress through puzzle-focused levels by changing characters and combining their abilities. The game supports single-player play and local co-op, with switching between these modes available during play. Additional challenges include time trials and perfect-level runs. Controller and Big Picture support are included.
How Grave Danger plays
- 01Three playable heroes
- Dante, Malice, and Elliot each use different movement and attack abilities.
- 02Character-based puzzles
- Levels require the team to combine wall climbing, horizontal floating, and an extra mid-air jump.
- 03Local cooperative play
- A friend can control the characters locally, and play can change between solo and co-op.
- 04Time-based challenges
- Time trials and perfect-level runs provide additional objectives.
- 05Controller support
- The game includes full controller and Big Picture support.
Grave Danger compared to similar games
Grave Danger combines puzzle progression with switching among three characters whose abilities handle different traversal problems. Jusant focuses on climbing a tall tower, managing climbing tools and stamina, and exploring routes at an individual pace rather than coordinating a three-character team.
