Our take on Grave Chase
The likely bounce point is the Groundskeeper encounter: the player must manage a constantly patrolling killer with a lantern while also handling graveyard enemies. Anyone wanting relaxed exploration may hit that pressure before reaching the later stages.
What is Grave Chase?
Grave Chase is a retro 2D horror action-adventure game about siblings hunting the groundskeeper responsible for their parents’ deaths.
They venture into his cemetery, recover remains, and apply scientific methods to assemble creatures. Armed with a lantern, the groundskeeper stalks intruders and swings a meat cleaver, while ghosts, mummies, skeletons, blobs, undead foes, and other hazards populate the levels. The game offers 31 increasingly difficult stages, special power-ups, over 50 achievement medals, extra modes that can be unlocked, Steam trading cards, and an original soundtrack. Players choose either the brother or sister; the sibling left behind builds monsters at home. Display modes include windowed and fullscreen, and gamepads are supported.
