Our take on Gotta Go
Rather than simulating office work or managing a workplace, the game turns a cubicle crossing into an urgent arcade challenge. Its central task is reaching the bathroom while balancing time, co-worker attention, and HR scrutiny.
What is Gotta Go?
Gotta Go is an arcade-style office simulation about getting Gus to a bathroom before his urgent need becomes an accident.
Players cross a 1990s cubicle office, using the layout, sprinting, hiding, and interactions to avoid co-workers or get past their conversations. A Gastric Gauge tracks the growing pressure, while a Shame-o-Meter records attention that can bring HR closer to firing Gus. Abilities and power-ups can delay the pressure or reduce accumulated shame, but some actions may draw co-workers or prompt HR reports. Players can change difficulty and toggle gameplay options called toppings, which alter strategies and arcade-mode scores. The game also includes multiple modes, an isometric 3D office, and controller support for PC and Mac.
