Our take on Goetia 2
The no-inventory design makes object possession central to puzzle solving, but removes the familiar option of collecting items for later. That choice keeps Luca's spectral form at the heart of the mechanics while narrowing how players can interact with objects.
What is Goetia 2?
Goetia 2 is a point-and-click adventure set in a distorted version of Venice.
Luca awakens as a spirit after a demon separates him from Daphné and his body. To find his way back, he explores more than 80 rooms across five areas, gathering information from notes, books, other spirits, and the surroundings. There is no inventory: Luca can possess objects and move them instead.
As a spirit, he can pass through walls, ceilings, and floors unless blocked, while actions in one room may affect other places. Players can revisit rooms after discovering all five areas to work on puzzles or gather more information. Special abilities gained during the journey reveal more about this strange version of Venice, though the description says they can also make Luca too comfortable there.
How Goetia 2 plays

- 02Linked room puzzles
- Actions in some locations can affect events in other rooms.
- 03Room revisiting
- Once all five areas are found, previously explored rooms remain available for further puzzle solving and information gathering.
- 04Spirit abilities
- Special capacities let Luca perceive or understand more of the altered city.
