This tactical RPG follows Kaguya and her companions as they work to establish the ancient kingdom of Yamataikoku.
Its cast includes 25 characters drawn from Japanese myths and folktales. Battles use status effects, hate elements, decoys, and summoning beasts. Characters can develop jobs, while formations can be changed from the formation screen and team members can be placed automatically on maps. The game includes 142 battle stages, 478 skill types, four difficulty settings, and multiple endings. Alongside the main scenario, it includes the Labyrinth of Yomi and The Deep Levels, with challenges that call for developed jobs or considered team formations and tactics. Multiple playthroughs are possible, and mouse and keyboard are supported.
