Our take on Gem Forge
The defining mechanic is gem fusion: shifting the board in four directions causes matching gemstones to combine into higher grades, with play centered on reaching the top gem and maximizing the score.
What is Gem Forge?
Gem Forge is a puzzle game built around moving and combining gemstones.
Players shift gems left, right, up, or down on a grid. When two gems of the same type meet, they combine into one gemstone of a higher grade. The objective is to continue joining gems until reaching the most precious gem and achieving the highest possible score. The game includes two board sizes, 4x4 and 8x8. Its gem grades include amethyst, emerald, ruby, and brilliant. A soundtrack accompanies the gameplay.
