Our take on GAZZLERS
The defining structure is persistent progression after failure: scrap survives each run, allowing skill-tree upgrades before another attempt.
What is GAZZLERS?
GAZZLERS is a cartoon-styled VR action game built around waves of enemies traveling in awkward-looking cars and aircraft.
Players physically aim weapons, block attacks, and dodge incoming fire while collecting scrap from defeated enemies. Weapon parts and upgrades alter the gun and change how each run plays. When a run ends, collected scrap remains available for improving the skill tree before the next attempt. Daily and weekly challenges provide additional scrap, while Nightmare mode adds a higher difficulty and leaderboard progression. The game focuses on repeated attempts through bullet-heavy combat, with weapon construction and permanent skill development forming the main progression loop.
How GAZZLERS plays
- 01Physical VR Combat
- Combat requires aiming, blocking, and evading attacks with body movement.
- 02Modular Weapon Building
- Found components can be combined to change the gun and its combat style.
- 03Persistent Scrap Progression
- Scrap collected before death carries into later attempts and can be spent on the skill tree.
- 04Challenge Modes
- Daily and weekly tasks award additional scrap, while Nightmare mode adds a tougher ranking-focused option.
GAZZLERS compared to similar games
GAZZLERS combines VR body movement, wave combat, weapon-part combinations, and scrap carried between attempts. Abyssus instead centers on multiplayer shooting through hand-crafted levels, with weapons modified using ancient technologies in a roguelite structure.
