Play as Max Brawley, a retired Gatling Gear pilot fighting an empire that is exploiting natural resources.

Six boss battles pit the player against much larger enemies. Survival Mode offers successive waves of enemies, with players competing to last the longest. Twin-stick controls handle movement and shooting; the game also includes more complex mechanics for players to refine their play over repeated runs.
