Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a forgiving platformer may find the frequent deaths and level restarts demanding

- Players looking for a realistic or serious tone may not suit the doodle art, surreal hazards, and comic writing
Our take on Gatlin'
The store page gives substantial attention to its humor and eccentric presentation, while the central experience is repeated failure and restart-based platforming. The difficulty is acknowledged, but the description frames it partly as a joke rather than explaining how strongly retries shape ordinary play.
What is Gatlin'?
Gatlin' is a physics-based platforming bullet-hell game in which Blot uses a gatling gun to move through dozens of dangerous levels.
Movement combines shooting, launching, and pogo-style traversal, while hazards include spikes, classical art, clones, and tears. Dying returns Blot to the beginning of the current level, making observation and repeated attempts central to progression. Bosses use recognizable attack patterns and introduce their own personalities and story details. Completing the main story unlocks level modifiers that alter the challenge, including stages with changed gravity and slippery surfaces. The game also includes eccentric worlds, additional challenges, Steam achievements, and level design intended to support both slower play and speedrunning.
