Our take on Garlic
Rather than centering platforming on a conventional hero, Garlic frames the climb around an onion-headed protagonist pursuing a Cyber Goddess. Its structure also mixes compact single-screen challenges with larger stages and leaves room for dash-combo experimentation.
What is Garlic?
Garlic is a hardcore action platformer about an onion-headed boy climbing the Sacred Tower to meet the Cyber Goddess and seek a wish.
Movement centers on wall jumps, dashes, traps, enemies, and dash combinations across both single-screen challenges and larger stages. Checkpoints appear throughout the climb. The game uses simple core mechanics while allowing advanced movement by chaining dashes against walls, floors, and ceilings. Its story includes an unexpected problem involving the Cyber Goddess, while its platforming draws inspiration from Super Meat Boy, Celeste, and Gato Roboto.
