We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- RPG players who want combat alongside farming and crafting
- Life-simulation fans who want guild missions and monster battles as well as town activities
- Players who enjoy building relationships with villagers alongside manor and crop management
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a combat-only game may find manor building, crop growing, and town relationships take up too much of the experience.
- Players looking for a farming-only simulation may find the monster hunts, boss fights, and guild storyline distract from crop management.
- Players looking for a jigsaw puzzle are unlikely to find the puzzle-focused play described for Fantasy Girl here.
- Players seeking a survival game about shelter building and preparation for nuclear war may prefer Mr. Prepper.
Our take on Garlant: My Story
The game pairs manor life with guild combat, so its focus is split between domestic routines and adventuring. That variety comes at the cost of a single, tightly focused activity: players moving between crop tending, crafting, relationships, and monster hunts rather than staying with one loop.
What is Garlant: My Story?
A newly graduated Falconeye arrives in Garlant to gain practical experience and work with the Doe Guild.
The game combines combat against monsters and bosses with crafting equipment and adding gem augments. Gather resources to make tools and processing machines, and discover additional recipes while searching for a missing adventuring group. Away from guild duties, build a manor, grow crops from collected seeds, and choose whether to sell the harvest, use it in crafting, or fulfill villagers’ requests. Spend time with townspeople and build friendships, with the possibility of finding a life partner. The story also raises questions about ancient technology and the missing group.
How Garlant: My Story plays

- 03Guild monster hunts
