Our take on Garden of Witches
Combat progression departs from a fixed attribute-and-synergy setup: Scissors, Spells, Imprints, and Relics shape each build, with Charge, Combo, and Channeling adding different ways to use abilities. Boss encounters also center on learning each witch’s attack patterns.
What is Garden of Witches?
Sil, the Thread Witch, sets out to bring the other witches together for their yearly tea gathering in this action roguelike.
Bosses use individual attack patterns and can transform, requiring players to study their behavior. Runs combine Scissors, Spells, and Special Skills, which can be modified with Imprints and Relics to alter abilities. Defeat is temporary: permanent improvements and knowledge from earlier attempts carry forward. The narrative covers five core chapters followed by a three-section epilogue. Challenge Mode becomes available after Epilogue 3 and lets players select different trials. The completed game supports keyboard-and-mouse play, includes Steam achievements, and provides Japanese voice acting throughout the central five-chapter narrative.
