What is Dragon Star Varnir?
Dragon Star Varnir is an RPG about Zephy, a knight granted magic abilities after two witches save him with dragon blood.
He joins them against an Empire, dragon hunters, and a witch who threatens their kind. Battles use three vertical tiers, with party positioning affecting attacks against dragons with tier-based strengths and weaknesses. Some large dragons can strike through all three levels. Attacks fill a Dragon Gauge, allowing transformation, increased armor, and new abilities. Devouring a weakened dragon grants its unique skill tree, enabling combinations from different enemies. Three witches also require dragon’s blood as food. Feeding them too little or too much can change their condition, the items obtained, and the ending.
