What is Galencia?
Pilot the 1981 Galencia Fighter in a fast arcade-style shooter set against guardians responding to Earth's declining bee population.
The game contains 50 action levels, asteroid fields, challenging stages, boss encounters, and an ebb-and-flow difficulty curve. A Siren enemy can use a tractor beam to enable double-ship action. The Steam edition includes keyboard and limited joystick support, adjustable scanlines, fullscreen toggling, pause and quit controls, and automatic saving and loading of high scores. It also adds an introduction, launch and completion sequences, tweaked gameplay and graphics, six new SID tunes, and a separate Easter egg game. Galencia runs through the VICE emulator.
