What is Galactivore?
Galactivore is a gory, retro-style action-platformer set in 2068, after Earth becomes uninhabitable.
Players control an unnamed space traveller hired by the Invisible Hand Corporation to fight the United Liberation Front. The journey crosses different planets and reveals the story behind the corporation’s rise and Substance 52, leading to a choice between two sides. Gameplay combines running, shooting, and jumping across varied levels with distinct enemies, bosses, and gameplay elements. Secret upgrades and new ammunition types provide rewards and alter combat, reveal hidden areas, and open alternate routes. Player decisions affect the journey and determine the ending. Pixel-art visuals and an original soundtrack draw on classic games from earlier decades.
