Our take on Galacide
The page gives equal weight to campaign, endless, puzzle, and cooperative play, but the core pressure comes from managing combat and Bitwall tunneling at the same time. That makes the experience more mechanically focused than the galaxy-saving premise and varied destinations might initially suggest.
What is Galacide?
Galacide blends arcade-style space combat with rapid puzzle challenges.
Players choose among four ships with distinct statistics and special abilities, battle hostile craft, and carve a route through the advancing Bitwall. Its campaign visits varied galactic settings while following the search for the invasion’s origin. Additional modes offer limitless survival and increasingly demanding puzzle missions. Up to four people can play together locally. The roster includes a tractor-beam mining craft, a tough freighter that stores recovered scrap, a swift vessel able to phase through the barrier briefly, and an armed ship carrying guided missiles and a route-opening blast. The game also provides tutorials, leaderboards, achievements, Steam Trading Cards, Badges, and collectible Emoticons.
