Is GAL VS VILLAGE worth it for you?
We tell you who should skip it, too.
Play it if you…
Good fit- FPS fans who want high-speed movement and close-range weapon attacks
- Players interested in supernatural settings involving transformed villagers and ritual entities
- Players who want multiple endings and ending songs in a combat-focused game
Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking slow, methodical shooting may find the high-speed movement a poor match
- Players looking for a combat-free adventure may not fit a game centered on firearms, knives, and hostile entities
- Players who want a climbing, puzzle, or runner structure rather than a first-person shooter
Our take on GAL VS VILLAGE
The focus on fast first-person combat narrows the experience around direct encounters, leaving less room for slower exploration or non-combat activities. The forgiving lowest difficulty also reduces the pressure of survival for players seeking a demanding FPS challenge.
What is GAL VS VILLAGE?
Storm Haiseta Village as Kessenji “Blood-sucker” Yui, a special-unit operative sent to contain an otherworldly crisis.
This old-school first-person shooter combines high-speed movement with knife attacks and one-handed firearm use. Hostile entities include monstrous villagers, ancient kamis, shikigami invoked through rituals, and members of the Kurobachi family. The game includes a guide feature for players unfamiliar with FPS games and an especially forgiving lowest difficulty where death is rare. Multiple endings give the story different conclusions. Ending songs include the title track “Konjo Eternal,” with arrangements, recording, and mixing by Takayuki Katō and composition and lyrics by the author.
