Our take on FurBalls Racing
Rather than centering races on vehicle handling, the game uses rolling, wall jumps and spin drifts, with shortcuts as part of the course challenge. Its comic cheese-and-poop attacks also depart from the conventional racing-game presentation.
What is FurBalls Racing?
FurBalls Racing combines racing with platforming movement and comic attacks.
Players choose from more than twelve FurBalls with different attributes, then roll, wall jump and spin drift toward the finish line or seek shortcuts. Eating cheese lets a FurBall shoot poop at opponents. Local split-screen supports up to four players, while Grand Prix races can include up to fifteen CPU players. In Time Trials, players can race against ghosts of their own recorded best times and against staff ghosts. Medals earned on stages unlock more playable characters. Online play supports races against distant friends or other players. The game also includes secrets and hidden advanced mechanics for speedrunners and other players pursuing demanding runs.
