Our take on FORCED: Slightly Better Edition
The defining mechanic is the shared Spirit Mentor: every player must coordinate control of an additional party member while fighting and solving trials.
What is FORCED: Slightly Better Edition?
FORCED: Slightly Better Edition is a one- to four-player arcade action RPG set in a fantasy gladiator school.
Players take the role of enslaved gladiators seeking freedom through deadly trials against monstrous enemies. The campaign supports local and online co-op and is balanced for the number of players. Combat includes evasion, the Mark system, and special attacks: basic attacks place marks on enemies before players or allies use marked targets for stronger attacks. Four character classes offer distinct play styles. Players also control Balfus, a Spirit Mentor shared by the party. Puzzle elements accompany the combat, while Survival Arena Mode provides a separate challenge.
