Our take on Follia - Dear father
Rather than setting its horror in a conventional isolated house or wilderness, the game uses a university campus as its central environment. Corridors, rooms, and additional areas form the setting for investigation and backtracking as Marcus searches for his parents.
What is Follia - Dear father?
Follia – Dear Father follows Marcus Pitt as he searches a university campus for his parents after the institution becomes a place of death and horror.
Exploration takes him through dim corridors and rooms in search of clues, resources, items, and collectables. He can move quietly, and returning to previously visited areas can unlock additional parts of the campus. His flashlight may stop working, leaving him in darkness. Different enemies call for different approaches, while ambient sounds and music contribute to the horror setting. The game has three difficulty modes, from beginner to hardcore, and a virtual reality DLC available for HTC Vive. Marcus starts with a small number of items and must continue his search while trying to survive.
