Our take on Blood Typers
The keyboard-only design makes typing speed part of every encounter, but it also adds a performance hurdle to movement, combat, and item use. Players who type slowly may need a lower challenge setting, while experienced typists may find the system central to the game’s tension.
What is Blood Typers?
Blood Typers is a survival horror adventure controlled through keyboard commands.
Players explore a procedurally generated movie campus where horror-film settings become a nightmare, while fighting zombies, managing inventory, scavenging resources, and opening locked areas. Combat requires targeting enemies and typing their displayed words, with typing challenges testing words per minute. Difficulty modes adjust the typing challenge. The game supports solo play and online co-op for 1–4 players, including shared resources, coordinated combat, and proximity-based voice communication. Levels are large survival-horror maps with different movie themes, limited inventory space, and choices between items such as ammunition and food.
