Skip it if you…
Saves you a refund- Players seeking a relaxed pace may find the repeated combat challenges demanding.
- Those who prefer straightforward shooting may find that each encounter asks for tactical experimentation.
- Players looking for a broad exploration-focused adventure may find the game’s fight-by-fight structure limiting.
Our take on Flowing Lights
The puzzle structure makes experimentation central, but it also means progress can depend on repeating fights until a workable tactic emerges. That focus leaves less room for a continuous adventure built around exploration or story.
What is Flowing Lights?
Flowing Lights is an arcade shooter in which each fight presents a puzzle with a tactic to discover.
Terrain and physics affect how bullets move, so defeating enemies involves choosing how to use the environment as well as aiming attacks. Fights can be restarted immediately without a penalty, making trial and retry part of the play loop. The game includes 200 fights, each with optional challenges, plus power-ups, combos, achievement ranks, and online leaderboards. Each fight offers four ranks: C, B, A, and S. Earning A or S requires completing all combos. Playable tutorials and training modes introduce the mechanics, while the challenge is intended to remain demanding as players improve.
