Our take on Flobe
The focused line-control design keeps the game centered on reaction and score multiplication, but leaves little room for broader exploration or narrative progression. Early Access also means the current package is subject to planned additions rather than representing the developers’ stated final scope.
What is Flobe?
Flobe is an arcade game built around short, score-focused sessions.
Two analog sticks control a blue line’s location and length. Matching colored characters increases a score multiplier, while missed matches break it and make the line longer. Green enemies, red enemies, and bombs can pierce the line and end the run. Later play introduces several collectible colors and formations of enemies. The game includes three difficulty levels and bonus challenges; completed challenges open starting options for additional difficulty modes. Keyboard controls are available alongside the recommended gamepad controls. Flobe is in Early Access, with the developers planning more difficult challenges, a Linux version, Steam achievements, and Steam trading cards.
