Our take on Flatland Vol.2
The bounce point arrives when repeated failure becomes the main rhythm. Players who do not enjoy restarting after deaths, refining movement, and retrying difficult stages may stop at the central run-learn-repeat loop.
What is Flatland Vol.2?
In this second Flatland episode, Square navigates the series’ most hazardous area: the flooded wells.
The game presents carefully built platforming stages, straightforward controls with room for mastery, and a cycle of sprinting, leaping, failing, learning, and trying again. Rapid respawns shorten the gap after mistakes, including during tougher sections. Collectible items and additional modes provide further objectives. The main challenge is reaching the other side of the flooded wells through demanding, quick-moving levels.
