What is Flappatron?
Flappatron combines arcade action with a voiced visual-novel story about Nathan Flappatron and his journey through the bizarre world of Goonland.
Nathan fights negative thoughts inside his mind by shooting, blocking, and slashing attack bubbles. The story is divided into 13 chapters across four episodes. Episode 1 includes the prologue, Chapters 1–3, and survival mode; later episodes add further chapters, with Episodes 2–4 also adding a survival character each. Characters are voice acted and lip synced. The game also includes time trials and leaderboards for score competition. Its combat is described as fast-paced and intense, with a simple but deep gameplay system.
