Our take on Fish Catcher
The bounce point arrives when bombfish enter the catching pattern: the central action is interrupted by a target that must be left alone. Players expecting every jumping fish to be collectible may find that hazard distinction at odds with the game's simple catch-focused loop.
What is Fish Catcher?
Catch fish as they leap from the sea in waves that continue through changing day and night cycles.
Pink commonfish and yellow goldenfish can be caught, while bombfish must be avoided. The game supports solo play and a two-player mode for local play with a friend. Player one moves with W, A, S, and D and catches fish with J. Player two uses the arrow keys and catches fish with Numpad 5. The core activity is catching fish across successive waves, with the bombfish adding a hazard to each session. A controller setup guide is also provided.
