Our take on FireTry
The defining mechanic is tank control through player-written scripts, which can be tested in battles alongside conventional keyboard and gamepad input.
What is FireTry?
FireTry is a 2D overhead tank game centered on battles in arena-like levels.
Players steer tanks with a keyboard, gamepad, or script commands while planning attacks around obstacles, traps, enemies, and breakable boxes. These boxes can provide shields, special weapons, or increased speed. The game includes more than 50 levels, 15 tanks, shared-screen multiplayer for up to 4 players, and solo play. A level editor supports custom missions and changes to existing chapters, while a voting system lets players select favorite levels. The script engine interprets code for tank movement and control. Supported input includes keyboard and mouse, a standard gamepad, and an Xbox 360 gamepad. Steam achievements and Steam Cloud are supported.
