Our take on Finnish Army Simulator
Rather than focusing on combat missions, the game centers on the routines of conscript life: lectures, chores, marching, and training exercises. Its military setting is presented through repetitive duties and black humor, with role-playing systems and storylines layered into the service schedule.
What is Finnish Army Simulator?
This simulation follows Finnish military service around 2011, combining scripted scenes and routine duties with a humorous tone, strong language, black humor, and repetitive tasks.
The current Early Access version contains more than 8 weeks of service and over 40 hours of scripted gameplay. Activities include lectures, marching drills, equipment testing, fire training, orienteering, and combat exercises. Players can roam the barracks grounds during the day, manage an inventory, develop stats and skills, and follow dialogue and storylines. Weekend activities and TV news connect the barracks routine with events outside the base. A morning count tracks the days remaining in service, while several storylines may take multiple playthroughs to uncover.
