Our take on Final Strike
Final Strike replaces a conventional aviation scenario with an airborne alien invasion and a cinematic, end-of-the-world framing. Its VR version also places mission briefings, training, menus, HUDs, and working cockpit instruments inside the flight experience.
What is Final Strike?
Final Strike is an F-16 jet-fighter simulator built around an airborne alien invasion and a cinematic end-of-the-world setting.
Players take part in large aerial dogfights against alien enemies, either alone or with an AI partner. A custom soundtrack by Sean Beeson accompanies the story. The game also includes a VR version for HTC Vive and Oculus Rift. In VR, players receive mission briefings and training through mission control before entering 3D cockpits with working controls and gauges. VR menus and HUDs are included within the game. The structure combines fighter-pilot action, science-fiction enemies, cinematic presentation, and cockpit-focused simulation.
