Explore a devastated world in a narrative-focused science-fiction horror game populated by undead creatures and mutants.
The player awakens in a besieged city, encounters a survivor called Alphonso, and prepares for a perilous crossing toward a massive warp portal. Battles combine distance-based and close-quarters weapons against groups of monsters and boss enemies. Character development includes gaining levels, allocating ability points for varied effects, finding uncommon modifications and vehicles, and gathering objects. The city offers many places to investigate, including contaminated industrial sites, scientific facilities, corrosive extraction zones, a medical research center, and other areas. Their evidence reveals details about the catastrophe. Play is available alone or with as many as four participants in multiplayer.
