Our take on FBC: Firebreak
Solo players will hit the wall at the cooperative deployment structure, where crises are built around a three-person crew. Players who prefer choosing one permanent build may also bounce when they reach the Crisis Kit screen and are asked to modify weapons, tools, support items, and augments for different strategies.
What is FBC: Firebreak?
FBC: Firebreak is a multiplayer shooter in which teams of three work together inside the Federal Bureau of Control’s strange, otherworldly headquarters.
They confront reality-bending anomalies and monsters during a siege on the agency. Before each deployment, players select a weapon and customize a Crisis Kit with specialized gear, grenades, support items, and paranatural augments. Kit choices can be changed to suit different strategies and team roles. Missions send crews to varied, unexpected parts of the Oldest House, where they use their chosen tools and abilities or improvise with equipment at hand. This standalone game takes place in the world of Control and centers on responding to supernatural crises, restoring order, and trying to reclaim the Bureau.

FBC: Firebreak compared to similar games
FBC: Firebreak centers on three-player cooperative first-person shooting, team loadouts, and supernatural crises inside the Oldest House. Abyssus also offers multiplayer shooting with friends, but places that action in a roguelite structure with hand-crafted levels, brine-powered weapons, and weapon refitting through ancient technologies.
