Our take on fault - milestone one
Its focus on cinematic reading leaves little room for mechanical variety. Players choosing it primarily for combat, exploration systems, or repeated challenge will find those elements secondary to the unfolding story.
What is fault - milestone one?
This science-fantasy cinematic novel follows Selphine, a princess, and Ritona, her royal guardian, after an assault devastates their homeland of Rughzenhaide.
Their escape leads them to an unfamiliar forest with strange vegetation and no visible life, raising questions about the attackers, their destination, and the fate of their home. The game uses a 3D camera system for its presentation and is the Director's Cut edition, with added content and features from the original Japanese release. English and Japanese can be selected with keyboard shortcuts. The Steam purchase also includes a digital shikishi featuring Ritona. The story is presented as the first episode in the fault series.
