What is Fatal Twelve?
High school student Rinka runs the Lion House café for her grandmother.
After dying in a train explosion while shielding her friend Naomi, she wakes at the café as though nothing happened. Days later, a girl calling herself the goddess Parca brings Rinka into Divine Selection, a twelve-week ritual involving twelve people who seek to reverse their deaths. Participants gather information about one another’s names, causes of death, and regrets in the real world, then elect others for elimination. Rinka also discovers her friend Miharu is among the participants. The story follows Rinka as she investigates the truth of her death, confronts her own regrets, and faces the choices made by Miharu and the other people competing to live.
